We set out on Sulphur Springs last night and had clear, but wet riding until we crossed the little creek and went into the trees. There we were riding in 4-6 in of soft snow and ice. It was snowy until the big climb which was clear of snow but wet. Any shady parts of the trail seemed to have a good 5 in of snow still on it. We rode out the cut line to the road, which was quite soft and muddy. We rode up for a bit just to keep riding, before making our decent to the next leg of SS. The climb to the summit was mostly snow and meant hiking your bike. The switchbacks were clear of snow and we rode straight to the highway. We figured the last section would have lots of snow too, so gave it a miss.
Should be ok by next week if this warm weather keeps up.
