Yes, we actually had 5 Spin Sisters racing. Carthy Chan took third in the solo women category. Boglarka Gyorfi came in 2nd in the women's two-person team category. Clare Neville was there with 3 male teammates. Her team placed 3rd in mixed fours. Shelley Gillett was on a 2-person women's team -- they came in 4th Sarah Owen was on a 2-person mixed team -- they came in 4th.
Fantastic showing by all our racers, on a course through the COP east land trails that started out slick and muddy but fortunately dried out and improved during the day. It was a grey, cold day overall. "Crazy Larry", the announcer who always does the 24H of Adrenaline, Trans-Rockies and other bike events, kept up a non-stop patter for the spectators for the full 8 hours. Our Linda Green operated the timing computer. It was interesting to see some of the strategy as the race neared the end. Some of the fast racers thought they could do one last lap in the estimated time remaining, and just missed it (went over the cut-off time) by one or two minutes, so only their previous laps counted. But it was pretty exciting all the way to the end.

Why does Bogi show up at all the races in her minivan? ... So her and Gabor can haul all their medals home. Bogi has podiumed at every race so far!
