I know I've hassled everyone with an email about this already, but really hoping to get a lot of people, so here's one more try! Tomorrow (July 10) is a trail building day at Bowmont Park. We're working on rerouting around the stairs that were put in last year. This is a pretty big deal for us because if we can show the City of Calgary we can build trails well with minimal environmental impact it will make it easier for us to work with them in the future (hopefully re-cutting Sideshow Bob). We'll meet at the parking area at the corner of Silver Springs Blvd. and 54 Ave NW ( maps.google.ca/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=106610883975683419821.00048a923d9e7e4c33aa2&ll=51.102727,-114.190961&spn=0.005942,0.012757&t=h&z=17 ) at 10 am on Sat. July 10. Afterwards we'll have a picnic provided by CMBA. You will need close-toed shoes, preferably pants rather than shorts, and lots of water, sunscreen, weather apppropriate clothing - leadership and tools provided by CMBA. Thanks for your help!
