Hi Ladies! Tonights ride is Jumpingpound Loop - a favorite for most scooters and all around great ride for everyone! This trail has a very moderate gradientand is great for all levels of riders. It has some fast singletrack for the more advanced riders, while beginners will appreciate the small elevation gain and rolling nature. We leave the carpool spot at 6:00 - this trail is close so Lets plan to be ready to ride at the Trailhead for 6:45pm!! Directions: Take Highway 1 west and exit onto Hwy 68 (Sibbald Area Turn Off). The parking lot will be on the left hand side of the road, just after the highway curves and turns to gravel. I think the lot is called the Jumpingpound Day Use Area or Jumpingpound Campground - sorry guys my memory is failing me! If you see a sign that says Pine Top Day Use area you have gone too far! Here is a map of the Sibbald Areas - the trail is on the far right hand side of the map... www.tpr.alberta.ca/parks/kananaskis/pdfs/SibbaldAreasMap.pdfAnd I just thought this was a cool map of the trail - this is the way we will ride: www.everytrail.com/view_trip.php?trip_id=325959
