We have a part-time job opening.
Accounting Assistant Job Posting (Part-Time) Bookkeeping Duties include: - processing of monthly payables (includes posting journal entries to company software, posting monthly expenses, matching and filing invoices) - liaise with Purchasing department to ensure that all invoices are processed accurately - management of accounts receivables and ensuring they are accurate and current - conducting cheque runs (includes printing cheques and sending them out) - Responding to all vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner and ensuring that all vendor accounts are kept current - Maintenance of budget and sales spreadsheets - Assist Controller with other duties as required Qualifications: - strong understanding of the accounting process - previous work experience in similar field considered an asset - proficient in both Word and Excel - Professional conduct and excellent communication skills - Ability to work independently and in a team
